Call for Submissions
Deadline to apply to all exhibitions has been extended to September 14th, 2021. Review and notice of exhibition acceptance has been extended till late October.
2022 EXHIBITION IN THE WEST GALLERY
The Red Brick Center for the Arts invites artists living in Colorado to apply for a 2022 solo show or a self-selected group show in the West Gallery. The West Gallery is located in the foyer and conference room of the Red Brick and has over 45 feet in length of wall space. Only 2D work that can be installed on the wall will be considered for this space. Proposal must be for artworks that have not been previously exhibited at the Red Brick.
Submissions deadline is September 14th, 2021. Applications will be reviewed in October and notice will be given by end of October.
2022 West Gallery exhibition calendar is as follows:
Exhibition 1, February 17 – May 12, 2022
Exhibition 2, June 2 – October 27, 2022
Exhibition 3, November 10, 2022 – February 2, 2023
If accepted, artists will be required to agree to terms listed in exhibition agreement.
2022 EXHIBITION IN THE Main GALLERY: Symbols, Signs, Codes and Patterns
The Red Brick Center for the Arts invites artists living in Colorado to apply for Symbols, Signs, Codes and Patterns. Symbols, signs, codes, and patterns can be used to communicate meaning and even convey entire stories. Understanding can be universal or be known to only a select group or individual. This allows for a wide range of use and interpretation by artists. Artists working with or using symbols, signs, codes, and patterns are invited to submit work for consideration. This call is open to all art medium forms.
Proposal must be for artworks that have not been previously exhibited at the Red Brick Center for the Arts. Submissions deadline is September 14th, 2021. Applications will be reviewed in October and notification will be made in late October. Exhibition Dates: Symbols, Signs, Codes and Patterns exhibition will take place February - April, 2022 in the main gallery. Installation will be the week of February 7th, 2022.
If accepted, artists will be required to agree to terms listed in exhibition agreement.
2022 EXHIBITION IN THE Main GALLERY: Vanitas, Still Lifes and Tableaus
The Red Brick Center for the Arts invites artists living in Colorado to apply for Vanitas, Still Lifes and Tableaus. Vanitas, Still Lifes and Tableaus are longstanding genres that use arrangements in their depiction. Objects both natural and manmade, food, flowers, people and even light and shadows are considered in their placement. Items and people can hold symbolic meaning or not, allowing for a great range of use of these genres. Artists working in any interpretation of these genres are invited to submit work for consideration. This call is open to all art medium forms.

2022 Solo or Self-Selected Group EXHIBITION IN THE Main GALLERY
The Red Brick Center for the Arts invites artists living in Colorado to apply for a solo show or a self-selected group show. Additionally, Colorado curators may propose a curated exhibition. All mediums of art are welcome to apply.
Proposal must be for artworks that have not been previously exhibited at the Red Brick Center for the Arts. Submissions deadline is September 14th, 2021. Applications will be reviewed in October and notification will be made in late October.
