Arts and Culture Thrive in Aspen
During these unprecedented times of COVID-19, the Wheeler Opera House, Red Brick Center for the Arts and City of Aspen are joining forces to highlight the Roaring Fork Valley’s arts and cultural organizations as well as artists who are working to continue meeting and re-defining their mission during the pandemic.
Central to the project, representatives from the Wheeler Opera House and Red Brick Arts will conduct interviews with artists and representatives from organizations to find out how they are doing during the pandemic and how they have evolved their business model to continue their work. These interviews will be posted on the Wheeler and Red Brick Arts websites, promoted on social media and shared through e-marketing. It is the goal of the project to raise awareness about the work of local organizations and artists.
While all businesses and organizations are shifting and adjusting their business models because of the effects of the pandemic, arts organizations are at the forefront. Paving new pathways to create arts and cultural experiences are vital for an artist’s livelihood and an organization’s success. This communications partnership will help artists and organizations share their stories to larger audiences.
