Eric Elliott served as a facilitator for the Aspen Cultural Vibrancy Fellowship convenings, bringing his expertise to the program. We are delighted to showcase a collection of his work in conjunction with the Cultural Vibrancy Exhibition.

Eric explores visual perception and representation through the genre of still life paintings. Using repetition, Eric paints the same objects in various styles including impressionism, digital pixelation, and abstraction. One of the key features of his work is his attention to the subtleties of light and shadow. According to Eric, he views the objects in his compositions as an interconnected network of abstract shapes, where subtle differences offer diverse interpretations, much like different translations of a poem.
