Watercolor Painting the Kingfisher in Several Different Styles.
Painting this bird is such a treat, a fun bird to watch, the stubby flicking tail, with its oversized head compared to the body. The roughened, two-part unruly crest - all great features to try and capture on paper, from an ink and wash drawing to a conventional painting to a much looser watercolor will all be taught in this two-hour class.
All levels are welcome as we go from drawings to filling in the spaces using various techniques to create the finished product. The instructor, Amy Beidleman, will help you become aware of your own sense of style. All supplies are provided.
