As students paint these handsome birds, the Northern Flicker and Lewis’s Woodpecker, they’ll learn many watercolor techniques along the way. Various washes will be taught for the background, while including a lot of colorful fun painting wet on wet and utilizing the dry brush method for much of the detail work.

 All levels are welcome as we go from drawings to filling in the spaces using various techniques to create the finished product. The instructor, Amy Beidleman, will help you become aware of your own sense of style. All supplies are provided.
