Tammie Lane is an artist that has lived and worked in Aspen since graduating with a BFA in art over 40 years ago. From illustration in the early years, to producing paintings and pottery for galleries and festivals around the country for the last twenty years, she has always been inspired to work in the Roaring Fork Valley. She has shown with such notable galleries as E.S. Lawrence Gallery in Taos and Aspen; The Jill Vickers Gallery in Las Vegas, Vail, and Aspen; The Driscol Gallery in Denver; Gallery One in Las Vegas, Vail, and Aspen; The Spiva Art Center, Joplin, MO; The Crown Center Art Center, Kansas City, MO; The Art Center of Western Colorado; The Wild Horse Gallery in Steamboat Springs; Main Street Gallery in Carbondale; Elliot Yeary in Aspen; JRB At The Elms in Oklahoma City, and many more galleries throughout her career. She is an adjunct professor at CMC and teaches private workshops. She has been in many invitational plein airs around the country including Plein Air Easton, Maryland; Olmstead Plein Air in Atlanta; Plein Air in the Open in Wexford, Ireland. She has been in many national juried shows and been invited to produce work for Colorado Public Works.
